What We Do

Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India(MBRDI) taps into India’s engineering and IT talent to develop innovative products both locally and globally. Here at MBRDI we focus on topics ranging from computer-aided design and simulations (CAD, CAE) for powertrain, chassis and exteriors to embedded systems, telematics and developing various IT applications and tools.

Product Design and Development

The teams are actively involved in design of various subsystems, viz. chassis, BiW (Body in White), powertrain, and exterior, interior and with full vehicle integration tasks. These topics are supported for teams across Mercedes-Benz cars, Trucks, Vans and Bus divisions worldwide.
